Why engineers use NetScanly
Genuinely fast
Every query runs on our globally distributed edge network, so results come back in milliseconds wherever you are.
Honest results
We show exactly what the protocol returns. If something cannot be tested from the edge, we say so instead of inventing an answer.
Private by default
No accounts, no tracking pixels and no query logging. Hashing, encoding and token tools run entirely inside your browser.
Frequently asked questions
Are these network and security tools really free?
Yes. Every tool on NetScanly is completely free to use, with no account, no signup and no usage limits for normal use.
Do you store the domains or IP addresses I look up?
No. Lookups are processed at the edge and returned to you directly. We do not build profiles, sell data or retain your queries.
Can I use NetScanly to test my own infrastructure?
Absolutely — that is what it is built for. Use it to audit your DNS, TLS certificates, email authentication and HTTP security headers. Only test systems you own or are authorised to assess.
Why is there no ICMP ping or traceroute?
Our serverless edge platform has no access to raw ICMP sockets. Rather than fake the output, we provide a genuine TCP port check and an HTTP reachability and latency test instead.
